Are you planning to send a parcel or letter via POS in the near future? If you want your parcel or letter to be delivered to the recipient before Eid, then you need to post it before a specific date.
POS Malaysia has released a Cut off day for Eid parcels, which will vary from region to region.
The so-called Cut off day means that parcels posted before this date will be delivered to the recipient before Eid, and vice versa, you will have to wait until after Eid to receive the parcel.
If you are posting with Pos Laju, the last day to post within the West Malaysia area is 27 April. The Cut off day for parcels from West Malaysia to East Malaysia, East Malaysia to West Malaysia, and within the East Malaysia area is April 25.
Post offices will be closed on 1 May for Labour Day, 3 and 4 May for Eid, and will resume operations from 5 May. If you post after 25 or 27 April, your parcel may not reach the recipient until after 5 May.
