Users of the Touch ‘n Go eWallet can continuing to top up their credit cards with up to RM5,000 every month, which can be used for any transfer or transaction.
The Touch ‘n Go eWallet started splitting its balance into transferable and non-transferable categories last month.
The money in the Touch ‘n Go eWallet will be considered transferrable whenever the user tops it up with online banking or a debit card. Non-transferable payments will be made with credit card top-ups or government incentives.
Nonetheless, each Premium tier user would be able to recharge their credit card for up to RM5,000 each month, which will be considered transferrable. The remaining balance on a credit card top-up that exceeds RM5,000 would be considered non-transferable.
