As of yesterday, more over 77,000 Malaysian children were fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

More over 77k children were fully vaccinated.

As of yesterday, 77,834 Malaysian children aged five to eleven years had received their Covid-19 immunisation as part of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids).

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 1,358,791 youngsters in the same group had gotten at least one dose of the vaccine, accounting for 38.3 percent of their population.

A total of 2,857,568 individuals, or 91.8 percent, have finished the immunisation and 2,958,121, or 95 percent, have received the first dose of the vaccine for teenagers aged 12 to 17.

In the adult population, 15,908,442 people, or 67.6% of the population, have got the booster shot, while 22,956,433 people, or 97.6%, have finished both doses of the vaccination and 23,233,304 people, or 98.8%, have received at least one dose.

Yesterday, a total of 34,904 vaccine doses were provided, with 6,355 being the first dose, 20,260 being the second dose, and 8,289 being the booster dosage, bringing the total number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 69,138,021.

Meanwhile, according to the Health Ministry’s GitHub page, 31 Covid-19-related deaths were reported in Malaysia yesterday, with Putrajaya having the most cases with six, followed by Johor, Kedah, and Sarawak with four each, and Pahang and Perak with three each.

Penang, Kuala Lumpur, and Terengganu each had one case, while Melaka and Selangor each had two.
