In order to provide insurance coverage to low-income group, Government announced last year that BKM recipients would be provided with a Stability Protection Voucher (PTV) worth RM75, which can be used to purchase micro-insurance.
Perlindungan Tenang Voucher, or PTV for short, is available to all BKM recipients.
If you are already receiving RM50 in 2021, you are also eligible for RM75 this year. You can use it to renew the micro-insurance package you purchased last year, or to purchase a new micro-insurance package. You can use it not only for personal insurance, but also for motorbike insurance up to 150cc.
The RM75 voucher is valid from 1 January to 31 December 2022 and is limited to one voucher per beneficiary and cannot be transferred.
You can also choose to collect your RM75 vouchers directly through the Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
To collect your RM75 voucher through Touch ‘n Go eWallet, you can open the Touch ‘n Go eWallet APP, then find and click on the Program Baucer RM75 banner. Read the terms and conditions in detail and select the micro-insurance you wish to purchase and finally submit your application.
