Dr. Noor Hisham further stated that 267 patients are currently being treated in critical care units (ICUs) across the country, with 128 of them being confirmed to have Covid-19 and the remainder 139 being suspected, probable, or under investigation.
He claims that 164 of them require ventilator support, with 79 of them being Covid-19 positive. He further stated that 44 individuals died yesterday as a result of the fatal disease, with eight of them dying before reaching hospitals for treatment.
According to him, the total number of people who have died since the outbreak began is 34,983. He also stated that 18,253 people had recovered from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of people who have recovered to 3,960,082.

No new clusters were recorded yesterday, according to Dr. Noor Hisham, bringing the total number of active clusters in the country to 198. The Covid-19 infectivity rate (R-nought or R0) in Malaysia is now 0.87.
