According to a release from Ministry of Finance, ePemula Reward will be available in mid-April for eligible young people aged 18 to 20 years old. Full-time tertiary students are also eligible for the ePemula reward.
RM150 ePemula eWallet Rewards will be distributed through four eWallets, namely BigPay, GrabPay, ShopeePay and Touch ‘n Go eWallet, and each person can only receive the eWallet Rewards once on any one of the eWallet platforms.
Government has allocated a total of RM300 million to implement the ePemula e-wallet rewards scheme.
Ministry of Finance is also urging businesses that have not yet registered for e-wallets to do so to take advantage of the e-wallet trend and increase their turnover.
