According to a report by WABetaInfo online media, WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will allow users to send files of up to 2GB, meaning that users will be able to send files of up to 2GB directly through WhatsApp.
Currently WhatsApp only allows users to send files of up to 100MB, so if you want to send more than 100MB, you will need to use a third party software.
WhatsApp has become a must-have app for everyone in the office and it would be a big step forward if WhatsApp did introduce the ability to send files up to 2GB, as its rival Telegram already allows users to send files up to 2GB.
This feature is only being tested on iOS and it is unclear when it will be pushed out to all users.
