The BKM will be distributed in phases beginning March 28. The government can help families with a monthly income of not more than RM5,000 and singles with a monthly income of not more than RM2,500.
In the first stage, families with a monthly income of less than RM2,500 will receive RM300 in support. Depending on the number of children, families with a monthly income of RM2,500 to RM5,000 can get RM100, RM200, or RM300. In the first stage, singles with a monthly income of up to RM2,500 will get RM200. In the first step, singles aged 60 and up might receive RM150 in support.
