Yesterday (March 7), a heavy rain in the afternoon caused major floods in many districts of Kuala Lumpur. Some sections of the road even turned into yellow mud rivers, and many cars were submerged!
According to reports, Kuchai Lama, Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park is one of the hardest hit areas. Some sections of the road between the Ajinomoto factory and the Public Bank cannot be opened to traffic, causing traffic to be paralyzed.
In addition, according to photos posted by netizens on Facebook, the parking lot of the UMBI building next to the Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM) has been flooded, and car owners are advised to move their cars quickly.
At the same time, the water level in the area of Jalan Pasar, Pudu was about one foot high. Some cars chose to risk wading forward and quickly left the flooded area.
The Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) near the Sri Petaling toll gate is also flooded! Hundreds of cars are expected to be immobile, and the situation is quite serious.
Lets hope this flooding doesn’t cause any more injuries!
