A total of 3,002 Proton X50 units were delivered in February, while 2,951 Proton Saga units were delivered and 1,119 Proton X70 units were delivered. The Proton X50 goes on sale in October 2020, and the Proton X50 is approaching the 100,000 unit milestone in 1.5 years, with orders still coming in.
Proton is committed to improving the current problems it is facing with after-sales service complaints and parts shortages. Many owners have been complaining about parts shortages at various Proton repair centers when their cars break down or need repairs, resulting in months of waiting time.
Proton will require 22 types of fast consuming parts to be in stock for 3 months, which will shorten the waiting period for owners.
