According to the weather bureau at 2pm on February 23, Johor, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang are expected to experience persistent rainfall until February 26, 2022.
Generally, when an area is expected to receive more than 6 hours of thunderstorms, Meteorological Department will issue a yellow level persistent rainfall warning for the area. Local residents are urged to be vigilant.
If people receive an evacuation notice from the authorities, they should comply with the instructions and evacuate the area. People are also urged to avoid roads that frequently experience flooding and to park their vehicles on high ground.
