Health Minister Khairy: Only these TWO groups of COVID-19 patients need to report to CAC

08/02/2022

At present, the Covid-19 epidemic is still in an unstable state in Malaysia, breaking through tens of thousands of cases for two consecutive days, which is very worrying.

According to a press conference held by Health Minister Khairy on Feb 7, only those who have symptoms of categories 2B or above after contracting the disease, or those over 60 years of age with a confirmed diagnosis, are required to go to the Covid-19 Assessment Centre (CAC).

Currently, Malaysia is experiencing a Covid-19 Omicron wave and most of the confirmed cases are expected to be asymptomatic or mildly symptoms. Confirmed patients with symptoms at stage 2A or below only needed home quarantine, self-test and fill in their health status daily in MySejahtera.

How does a confirmed patient know what categories his or her symptoms are in?
