Perodua will launch 1 new big facelift model and 2 small facelift models in 2022!
According to Perodua at The Press conference on January 26, Perodua will launch a new model with a major facelift this year, as well as two models with minor facelifts. If you’re planning to get your hands on a Perodua vehicle within this year, you’ll need to pay special attention.
It is understood that the model of the Perodua facelift will be the Alza. According to online news, the facelifted Alza will be rebranded based on the Toyota Avanza. The Perodua Alza has been in the Malaysian market for 12 years, and now it’s time for a big replacement.
As for the two small facelifted models, it should be Axia and Aruz. The Perodua Myvi only launched a minor facelift last year, the Perodua Bezza also launched a minor facelift in 2020, and the Perodua Ativa was also launched last year. Now that leaves the Perodua Axia and Aruz most likely with minor facelifts.
The Perodua Axia was first launched in 2014 and received two minor facelifts in 2017 and 2019, and now is the time for another facelift. The facelifted Perodua Axia may add LED headlights and decentralize the Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) system to all models.
The Perodua Aruz was launched in 2019 and has not launched any minor facelifts so far, so it is very likely that minor facelifts will be launched this year.
