Why choose low-salt kimchi?
Although kimchi has many benefits, there are some people who are not suitable to eat it, such as people with high blood pressure, cardiovascular, stomatitis, laryngitis, stomach ulcers and haemorrhoids.
The reason why some people who are not suitable to eat it is because the sodium content of kimchi is too high, so it is best to choose low-salt kimchi, which has less salt than regular kimchi. Regular kimchi contains about 2 to 2.5% salt, while low-salt kimchi contains 1 to 1.5% salt. Due to the reduced salt content, it is also safe to eat.
