According to Minister of Education Radzi, many parents and candidates complained that the SPM exam timetable announced last week was too intensive and asked the Ministry to make changes.
Radzi said that the Ministry of Education has started discussions and will announce the new timetable in the near future. The Ministry of Education values everyone’s opinion and has met with senior management from the Examination Authority and the Ministry to review all comments.
According to the recently released SPM exam timetable, the SPM written exam will be held from March 2 to March 20, while the oral exam and science laboratory will be held in stages in February. The exam board has scheduled some of the exams on Sundays, so students will also have to return to school on Sundays to sit the exams.
