If you want to know how much money you have in your provident fund account, but you don’t have an i-Akaun online account, it is not convenient to check the counter of the provident fund bureau. You can choose to register for an i-AKaun View Mode.
The so-called i-Akaun View Mode is a streamlined online system that only allows members to view their provident fund account deposits and transaction records. In the case of i-Akaun View Mode, members cannot conduct any transactions that require a verification code (TAC), that is, they can only query their account information.
i-Akaun View Mode provides 7 services, that is, checking account balance, latest payment amount, personal information update, transaction history, withdrawal conditions, pop-up notification, and i-AKaun Secured Inbox service.
Members can always use i-Akaun View Mode after turning on i-Akaun View Mode, and there is no validity period or time limit. If members want to use i-AKaun’s full service, they need to go to the provident fund bureau counter to provide fingerprints and stamps.
The main purpose of i-Akaun View Mode is to enable members who do not have i-Akaun and cannot visit the EPF branch to check their EPF account balance.
Members who want to activate i-Akaun View Mode can call the provident fund hotline, which is 03-89226000. You just need to tell the customer service staff that you want to register for i-Akaun View Mode, and the customer service staff will provide you with a username and password. Then you can visit https://www.kwsp.gov.my/ to log in to i-Akaun View Mode.
It should be noted that if you already have a provident fund member of i-Akuan, you do not need to apply for i-Akaun View Mode.
