You can listen to the latest WhatsApp voice messages even if you leave the WhatsApp chat screen!
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is testing a new feature that allows users to listen to voice messages while exiting the chat screen to do other things simultaneously.
Now you have to stay on the chat page to listen to a WhatsApp message, and if you accidentally exit the page, the message stops playing. If a voice message is several minutes long or multiple messages are received, the user must stay on the chat page and listen to the voice for several minutes.
WhatsApp is testing a feature that allows users to receive voice messages even when they leave a chat page. When a user leaves a chat page, a voice message that is playing will automatically pin at the top of the page, and users can choose to play, pause or close it.
That way, users can listen to the voice while doing other tasks, such as responding to messages from other users.
The feature is currently in beta, and still don’t know when it will be available.
