The Ministry of Health announced that it would change the way of reporting the epidemic situation every day, and the latest data of the epidemic situation would be released through the new COVIDNOW website at 12 noon every day.
At the press conference held on the evening of September 9th, Minister of Health Khairy Jamaluddin pointed out that in order to let people know the detailed data of the epidemic situation in Malaysia, the Ministry of Health set up a new COVIDNOW website and published all the epidemic situation data on the new COVIDNOW website. Authorities will upload and update data at 12 noon every day. The data of COVIDNOW’s new website will be as of 11: 59 last night.
On COVIDNOW’s new website, you can inquire about vaccination rate, active cases (home isolation, isolation centre, hospital, intensive care unit, etc.), rehabilitation data (data of each state), death cases, daily detection quantity and confirmed diagnosis rate.
In addition, you can also check the usage rate of vaccine brands in Malaysia through the new COVIDNOW website, which is currently 45% for Pfizer, 46.9% for Sinovac, 8% for AstraZeneca and 0.1% for CanSino BIO.
