10 reasons why you can’t get BKC subsidy~~

BKC grants have been available since September 6th! Recipients with bank accounts can receive directly through their bank accounts, while recipients without bank accounts can go to BSN to receive subsidy in the form of cash.

The government has classified families earning up to RM5,000 a month and single people earning up to RM2,500 as the B40 low-income group. Families earning between RM5,001 and RM9,000 per month and singles earning between RM2,501 and RM5,000 per month are classified as M40 middle-income group.

Under the first phase of the Bantuan Khas Covid-19 (BKC), RM500 for very poor families, RM200 for very poor singles, RM500 for B40 families, RM200 for B40 singles, RM250 for M40 families and RM100 for M40 singles.

Want to know whether you’re BKC recipient, you can go to https://bkc.hasil.gov.my/ and enter the id number and verification code. Then you need to log into your BKC/BPR account to check if you can receive assistance.

If you qualify for income but are not a BKC recipient, you may have made several mistakes. The government listed 10 reasons for not receiving BKC subsidy

B40 group

1. There is no application information in BPR of 2021.

2. BPR subsidy in 2021 have passed away (single or widowed).

3. The BPR application in 2021 failed.

4. The applicant or spouse is a GKP beneficiary.

5. Working or living abroad.

M40 group

6. The applicant or spouse is a GKP beneficiary.

7. Income tax shows that you have exceeded the M40 qualification.

8. Failing to file income tax returns for the closing year 2020.

9. The taxpayer has passed away.

10. Working or living abroad.
