Attention! POS will allow people to renew their driver’s license and road tax directly from September 6th! No appointment time is required!
With the Road Transport Department of Malaysia (JPJ) announcing the extension of the licence and road tax renewal exemption until December 31, and the full opening of the counter for licence and road tax renewal from September 6, Pos Malaysia is following suit.
Starting September 6, 2021, people will no longer need to make an appointment to renew their driver’s license or road tax at the POS. People can Walk-In and renew their driver’s licenses and road taxes. Those who have made an appointment can continue to renew their driver’s license and road tax as scheduled.
However, it is important to note that the POS will ensure that all citizens follow standard operating procedures, such as limiting the number of people who can enter the POS, requiring all people to wear masks, take their temperatures, scan QR codes and maintain a physical distance of one meter. Anyone showing symptoms of coronavirus will not be allowed to enter the POS.
POS still allows people to renew their car insurance.
