It is currently the third wave of the epidemic in Malaysia, and I feel flustered when I have to go out to buy daily necessities, fearing that there will be confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the area I am going to. Tesco turned the crisis into a business opportunity and teamed up with foodpanda to deliver all daily necessities and groceries to customers’ doorsteps.
Just click on the foodpanda App and you can choose the goods you want in Tesco. For example, if you are in the mood to cook, or want to make barbecue or steamboat at home, you can go directly to the Tesco option of foodpanda to buy beef, chicken thighs, chicken breasts, hot dogs, prawns, all kinds of fish, cuttlefish and crab. As well as seafood and meat, you can also wait for fresh vegetables to be delivered to your doorstep from Tesco’s foodpanda.
In addition to fresh ingredients, foodpanda also provides snacks from Tesco, such as Mamee, Pringles Potato Chips, Lays Chips, soft drinks, dried fruits, biscuits and more. You can have snacks with drama without stepping outside.
Currently, this super-convenient service is only tried in the Klang Valley area. The participating Tesco include Tesco Paradigm Mall, Kepong, Extra Cheras, Extra Puchong, Bandar Puteri Bangi, Kajang, Bukit Puchong, Shah Alam, Wangsa Walk, Setia Alam and Selayang. In the future, foodpanda and Tesco may develop this service to other states and regions.
