1.Backup iCloud
Open Settings> iCloud> iCloud Backup in the old phone. If you are worried about insufficient capacity, it is recommended to delete unnecessary data before Backup, or you can choose to purchase more iCloud capacity.
2. Send Data
After iCloud is backed up, when the old phone is close to the new phone, the old phone will pop up a window that displays “Send data to the new phone”. After pressing Continue, scan the new phone and enter the password.
3. Install and Setup a New Phone
Next, you can start to install the new phone. First, set up Face ID. After setting, the screen will ask whether you want to transfer data from the old phone to the new phone. After clicking “Continue”, you must press “Agree” to agree to their Terms & Conditions.
4. Install Other Settings
After that, you can install other settings such as Siri, Apple Pay, etc. Just press Continue or if you don’t want to set up the settings now, you can also choose Set up later in settings. Once you’ve completed the setup, the data starts to transfer, remembering that the two phones are not too far apart.
5. Done!
