800,000 people have signed up for PADU, have you?

As of January 7, nearly 800,000 people have registered for the PADU main database.

According to the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), the government opened the PADU registration on January 2, and as of 11:59pm on January 7, 798,528 people have registered for PADU.

Selangor had the highest number of registrations, totaling 182,943. Johor had 85,975 registrations and Sarawak had 72,775 registrations. Perak 71,409, Sabah 61,000, Kuala Lumpur 54,998, Kedah 52,034, Penang 43,943, Negeri Sembilan 39,804, Kelantan 37,082, Pahang 36,354, Melaka 25,464 and Terengganu 22,632.

The Primary Database (PADU) is a centralized database set up by the government to pool together the national payroll and affordable receipts, which the government will rely on in the future to grant subsidies or assistance payments. If you have not registered and updated your information, you may not be able to receive your subsidy or assistance due to incomplete information.
