Good news! Police are offering 50% discount on traffic tickets in 3 states in the country.
According to the news issued by the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Unit of the Royal Malaysian Police, traffic ticket discounts will be offered in 3 states in the country. As long as the outstanding tickets are paid on the specified date, you will be entitled to a 50% discount.
Perak offers traffic ticket discounts from September 24 to 25, Sarawak offers traffic ticket discounts on September 24 and 25, and Johor offers traffic ticket discounts from September 30 to October 2.
However, it is important to note that discounts are not available for red light running, emergency lane abuse, dangerous overtaking, double lane overtaking, traffic accidents, traffic tickets involving courts and lorries. Traffic tickets that are marked non-discountable (NC) are also not eligible for discounts, nor are traffic tickets for exhaust modification.

Location: Plaza Merdeka Kuching and IPD Kuching
Conditions: For specific traffic tickets only, you must visit the above locations to pay your ticket.
50% discount on Johor traffic tickets
Date: September 30 – October 2, 2022
Time: 9am – 5pm
