There is more free time in college than in middle school. If you can make good use of this free time, it will not only help your future work but also allow you to successfully transform into a more ideal version of yourself.
01. Read
Don’t say you don’t have time to read. Don’t you know that books have their own golden houses? Reading can solve most of your problems. Don’t believe it? If you want to develop your ability to express yourself, you can choose books about expression ability; if you feel you have a bit of inferiority, you can choose books that address low self-esteem, and so on. Since all the problems in our lives have been answered for us by the author of a book, why not refer to their solutions?
02. Learn a skill
Learning a skill, whether related to your major or not, is important. why? Because these skills will not only make you shine in your future job but also allow you to build a side job that you love. For example, your major is not related to design, but your PS skills are very good. Then in the future, you can use this skill to exchange for a side job that takes less time but has more rewards!
03. Develop hobbies
Similar to learning skills, having more hobbies is equivalent to having an opportunity to develop a side job. I believe that many college students are in the trouble of needing money for everything, but they cannot make any money themselves and have to ask their parents for living expenses. So when you have an additional opportunity to develop a side business, why not do it? For example, if you are a person who likes writing, you can try to submit articles to earn a day’s food expenses or even more.
04. Learn a language
Who doesn’t love an employee who can speak multiple languages? When you learn more languages, your job opportunities will be relatively more. For example, if your Chinese is very good, but communication and writing in Malay and English are not a problem, then when you go for an interview, your chances of being admitted will be greater.
05. Review well
If you don’t want to do anything, just study hard. Learning your major well is the most important thing in college. If you can’t even learn your major well, then what diploma will you use to find a job in the future?
You only have one college life, so don’t waste these precious 4 years. Invest in yourself to become a more ideal version of yourself!
