AES camera in Malaysia.
When driving back home during the Lunar New Year, you must obey the traffic rules. This is not only to avoid traffic tickets, but also to allow you to travel and return home safely.
Our country currently has 45 automatic enforcement systems (AES). On your way home, do not exceed the speed limit, especially when passing through these areas.
In general, the traffic flow of various avenues will increase before and after the festive season, as will the incidence of road accidents. The Land Transport Department has installed the Automatic Enforcement System (AES) in 45 areas across the country to reduce traffic accidents caused by speeding drivers.
All speeders will face an RM300 fine and demerit points. Once the required number of points has been accumulated, the driver’s licence will be suspended.
We have 45 AES locations in Malaysia, 29 of which are used to prohibit speeding and the remaining 16 are used to prohibit red light running.
