As of February 13, 21,072 new cases have been confirmed in China, reaching 20,000 for the third consecutive day.
According to the news issued by Health Director Tan Sri Noor Hisham, 21,072 new cases have been confirmed as of 12 noon on February 13, making a total of 3,040,235 confirmed cases.
Of the 21,072 new confirmed cases, 99.59% or 20,986 are in the first and second stages and 86 or 0.41% are in the third, fourth and fifth stages.
The country saw 22,802 new confirmed cases on Feb. 12, 20,939 on Feb. 11, 19,090 on Feb. 10, 17,134 on Feb. 9, 13,944 on Feb. 8 and 11,034 on Feb. 7.
The public is urged to wear masks properly, keep physical distance from others, and conduct self-tests when symptoms appear.
