The opening ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics will be held on the evening of February 4 and will be broadcast live on RTM.
The 24th Olympic Winter Games (Olympic Games Beijing 2022) will be hosted in Beijing, China, and will run from February 4 to 20, 2022. The opening ceremony will take place at 8pm on February 4 at the Bird’s Nest National Stadium in Beijing.
The Beijing Winter Olympics will be held in a total of three zones, namely Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou. Beijing becomes the first city in the world to host both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.
The Beijing Winter Olympics will include 15 major events and will produce 109 sets of medals, 7 more than the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. New competitions will be featured in snowmobile, short track speed skating, freestyle skiing, ski jumping and snowboarding.
The opening ceremony will be broadcasted live on the Malaysian state-run television station (RTM), and you can watch the Beijing Winter Olympics opening ceremony on RTM TV2 and RTM Sukan. If you don’t have a TV at home, you can also watch the live broadcast directly online.
