According to a report in the British newspaper The Sun, the British application responsible for outbreak tracking has compiled the 19 most common symptoms of Omicron infection, with the top five symptoms being a runny nose, headache, fatigue, sneezing and sore throat.
Other symptoms of infection with the Omicron variant include persistent cough, hoarseness, cold shivers, fever, dizziness, brain fog, abnormal sense of smell, sore eyes, unusual muscle aches, loss of appetite, loss of sense of smell, chest pain, swollen glands and depression.
A British study found that infection with the Omicron variant strain was milder than other variant strains and the risk of hospitalization was 50 to 70 percent lower than Delta.
Our country has already seen several indigenous cases of Omicron, while most of the cases imported from outside the country are pilgrims returning from the Middle East. Stay safe and follow SOP strictly, everyone!
