According to the Deputy Minister of Health, Ministry of Health has identified 1055 schools nationwide that will become vaccination centers for the Childhood Vaccination Program (PPV PICKids) and these vaccination centers will be operational by February 14 at the latest.

These 1055 schools will serve as vaccination centers for their students and students from nearby schools, which will speed up the vaccination process for children. The schools will provide a list of eligible children, who will then be vaccinated by medical staff.

Parents who have registered their children for vaccination will be notified of the appointment and their child’s vaccination certificate will appear electronically on the MySejahtera website.

In order to avoid overcrowding in the vaccination centers, only one parent or guardian is allowed to accompany each child.

The Childhood Vaccination Program has been underway for one week and a total of 79,393 children have received their first dose of vaccine, 28,661 of whom are from Selangor. There were 17,887 in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, 17,877 in Sarawak, 4,962 in Sabah, 3,425 in Melaka and 2,728 in Negeri Sembilan.
