10 symptoms of kidney disease issued by Ministry of Health

According to the Ministry of Health, 15% of Malaysians suffer from chronic kidney disease. As chronic kidney disease has no symptoms in its early stages, most patients are not aware of their condition until they are in a severe stage.

The Ministry of Health has issued 10 symptoms of kidney disease, including blood in the urine, fatigue, swollen feet and loss of appetite.

There are currently about 50,000 kidney patients in the country who need treatment and each patient with kidney failure costs an average of RM40,000 per year for dialysis, which many people cannot afford.

 

Here are the symptoms of kidney disease. If you are experiencing similar conditions, then you should go to the hospital for a check-up.

1. blood in the urine or foamy urine

2. Feeling tired and weak

3. frequent urination, especially at night

4. dry and itchy skin

5. lack of appetite, feeling nauseous and vomiting

6. swelling of the feet

7. puffiness around the eyes, especially in the morning

8. loss of concentration easily

9. cramps in the feet at night

10. high blood pressure
